What is MyFundedFutures?

MyFundedFutures (My Funded Futures) is a futures prop firm: you pay for an evaluation, trade a simulated account to a profit target without breaking its loss limit, and then trade a simulated funded account for a share of its profits, with a move to a live account later on. It sells four evaluation plans - Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder - in account sizes from $25K to $150K, with no activation fee on any of them.

MyFundedFutures accounts trade CME Group futures including NQ, ES and YM and their micros, plus gold, energy, agricultural and currency contracts (silver, copper, platinum and natural gas are restricted for now). It supports NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Quantower, Volumetrica, DeepChart and ATAS.

Which plans does MyFundedFutures offer?

MyFundedFutures offers four plans, and they differ in three rules that matter most: the consistency rule in the evaluation, whether there is a daily loss limit, and how payouts are paid.

PlanSizesEvaluation consistencyDaily loss limitMinimum days
Rapid$25K to $150KBest day under 50% of profitNone2
Rapid EOD$25K to $50KBest day under 30% of profitNone4
Pro$50K to $150KBest day under 50% of profitNone2
Builder$25K to $150KNone (50% once sim-funded)$600 to $2,500 by size; pauses the day1

The $50K Pro also has an optional One-Day add-on: a $4,000 target, a one-day minimum and no consistency rule.

A consistency rule caps how much of your total profit can come from one day. With a 50% rule on a $3,000 target, no single day can make more than half of the profit you pass with. The Futures Position Size Calculator works out how many winning trades at your size fit in one day under the rule, and the Prop Firm Consistency Calculator works out what today needs to pass it from the days you have traded.

What are the MyFundedFutures profit targets and drawdowns?

The MyFundedFutures profit target and maximum loss are set by account size and match across the plans' standard versions (the $50K Builder can also be bought with a $1,500 maximum loss, and the $50K Pro One-Day add-on has a $4,000 target).

AccountProfit targetMaximum loss
$25K$1,500$1,000
$50K$3,000$2,000
$100K$6,000$3,000
$150K$9,000$4,500

Every MyFundedFutures evaluation, Rapid's included, uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown: the loss limit follows your highest closing balance, not your highest point during the day, so an open profit that comes back before the close does not drag the limit up with it. Open losses still count while a trade is on, though: if an open trade takes your balance below the limit, the account fails there and then, not at the close. The difference comes once you're sim-funded: Rapid switches to intraday trailing until the limit locks at the starting balance plus $100, while Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder stay end-of-day. Maximum position size also grows with the account - on the $50K Rapid it is 5 minis or 50 micros.

Can you trade the news at MyFundedFutures?

You can trade the news in every MyFundedFutures evaluation and on the Builder plan, but not once a Rapid, Rapid EOD or Pro account is sim-funded. On those accounts you can have no open positions or working orders, limit orders included, from two minutes before to two minutes after each tier-one release - FOMC meetings and minutes, the Employment Report and CPI for everyone, plus EIA reports for energy traders and agricultural reports for agricultural traders - so for an 08:30 release you are out by 08:28 and wait until 08:32.

The week's high-impact releases, with their New York times, are on our Red Folders page.

What are the MyFundedFutures trading hours?

MyFundedFutures trading runs from the Globex open at 18:00 New York to 16:10 New York the next afternoon, and open positions are closed automatically at 16:10. No plan lets you hold a position overnight, and the Rapid page says holding one breaches the account. On holidays with an early close the automatic close does not run, so close your own positions before the session ends.

How do MyFundedFutures payouts work?

MyFundedFutures payouts depend on the plan. Every plan also asks you to clear a buffer above the starting balance before payouts; on Pro, MyFundedFutures' help articles allow one payout of up to 60% of your profit before the buffer is cleared.

  • Rapid and Rapid EOD: a 90/10 split in your favour, payouts requested daily, $500 minimum, no consistency rule once funded.
  • Pro: an 80/20 split, payouts every two weeks from 14 days after your first trade, $1,000 minimum; after three payouts in a row on the same account, MyFundedFutures reviews it for a move to a live account.
  • Builder: an 80/20 split, a payout every 48 hours up to five, with caps by account size, then promotion to a live account.

Can you use a trade copier at MyFundedFutures?

You can use a trade copier at MyFundedFutures across all of its account types, as long as every account is yours - copying between different people's accounts is not allowed. MyFundedFutures says it is not obliged to give support or resets for problems a copier causes. Tradesyncer and Tradecopia both name MyFundedFutures among the firms they work with, and MyFundedFutures names Tradesyncer as its preferred trade copier partner.

How I use MyFundedFutures

MyFundedFutures is one of the prop firms I trade with: I take its Rapid plan, on NQ, ES and YM. Its end-of-day drawdown in the evaluation suits day trading: I plan the day's sessions from the Daily Chain Map the night before, size every trade so a full day of losses stays well inside the drawdown, and stop once the day's plan is done.

Before the first trade on a new evaluation, work out how many losing trades in a row the drawdown can take at your size. The Futures Position Size Calculator has every MyFundedFutures plan built in.

Common questions

Does MyFundedFutures charge an activation fee?

No. Every MyFundedFutures plan and account size lists a $0 activation fee: you pay for the evaluation, and nothing more to activate the funded account once you pass.

Is the MyFundedFutures drawdown end of day or intraday?

Every MyFundedFutures evaluation uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown, which moves up with your closing balance rather than every tick, though open losses during the day still count against it. The Rapid plan switches to an intraday trailing drawdown once the account is sim-funded.

Can you trade news releases at MyFundedFutures?

In the evaluations and on the Builder plan, yes. Once a Rapid, Rapid EOD or Pro account is sim-funded, you can have no open positions or working orders, limit orders included, from two minutes before to two minutes after tier-one releases: FOMC meetings and minutes, the Employment Report and CPI for everyone, plus EIA reports for energy traders and agricultural reports for agricultural traders.

Does MyFundedFutures allow trade copiers?

Yes. MyFundedFutures allows copy trading across all of its account types, between your own accounts only. It says it is not obliged to give support or resets for problems caused by a copier.
