Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Quarter Sequence (“we”, “us”) handles personal data for quartersequence.com. We collect the minimum needed to run our email newsletter, answer your messages and understand site traffic. We never sell your data.

What we collect

• Email address: when you subscribe to our newsletter, processed by our email provider (MailerLite) on a double opt-in basis.
• Messages you send us: your name, email address and message when you use our contact form. They reach us by email and are used only to reply.
• Analytics data: aggregate usage data via Google Analytics 4 (through Google Tag Manager). Before you consent this stays cookieless and non-identifiable (Google Consent Mode); cookies and identifiable measurement begin only after you accept.
• Technical data: IP address and request metadata, processed transiently by our hosting (Hostinger) for security and delivery. To stop spam, our signup and contact forms keep a hashed form of your IP address with the times of recent attempts.

Some features remember your settings in your browser’s storage, such as which guides you have read. That stays on your device and is never sent to us. Our Cookie Policy lists it.

The Prop Firm Expense Tracker and the Prop Firm Consistency Calculator work the same way: everything you log or type in them stays in your browser. We never see your accounts, days or amounts, and we can’t recover them if your browser’s data is cleared. If you accept analytics cookies, we may count which of their features are used (for example, that an account or a day was added), never the amounts.

Lawful basis

• Consent: for newsletter email and for non-essential analytics cookies.
• Legitimate interests: to reply to messages you send us, and for security and fraud/abuse prevention.

How we use it

To send you launch and product updates you asked for, to reply to your messages, to measure and improve the site, and to keep it secure.

Sharing & processors

We share data only with processors who help us run the site: MailerLite (email), Google (analytics/tag management), CookieYes (cookie consent management), and Hostinger (hosting). Each processes data under its own terms.

The price ticker on our homepage is a TradingView widget. When it loads, TradingView receives your IP address and basic browser details, under its own privacy policy.

Some links on our Resources pages may be affiliate links. The partner may credit us for your visit or purchase through a code in the link or its own cookies on its site. What happens on the partner’s site is covered by its own privacy policy.

Retention

We keep subscriber data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the newsletter ends. We keep messages you send us only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. Analytics data is retained per the provider’s default settings.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, withdraw consent, and object to processing. Unsubscribe via any email, or contact us. UK/EU residents may complain to their data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
